Ten olej spełnia normy Mercedesa, a w Smarcie jest skrzynia Mercedesa.
Z powodzeniem możesz go stosować.
Mam go od 10-2011 i przebiegu 150 000 km, obecny przebieg ponad 430 000 km !!!!

However, this information could be wrong. It seems strange that although the 450 gearbox is a manual the same as the 451, the specced transmission fluid is different? I have contacted Getrag but have had no answer. However Smart's own workshop instruction system says that the 6 speed transmissions found in the fortwo and Roadster are covered by document BB00.40-P-0236-14A which states the filing capacity of 1.4 litres of ATF listed in Sheet MB standards MB 236.14 The other information that I can't ignore is that ATF is red and that all transmission fluid I have changed in 450's and Roadsters is also red when it came out. Dirty as hell but still red. Standard gear oil (as recommended in 451's and forfours) listed under MB 235.72 is a normal golden colour which ties in with what I have seen after changing the transmission fluid on a pair of 451s. Stick with ATF for the 450 as it has worked so far. Franz M contacted me to say he has used BP Energear SHX 75W90 in 6 smarts (fortwo 450) over the last 3 years with no problems even though smart recommend ATF. Search Google, local motorfactors or eBay for MB 235.72 Extra Info The oil rating for gear oil is different to that of normal engine oil. 75W90 gear oil has the exact same viscosity of a 10W40 motor oil. This doesn't mean you should use 10W40 motor oil but you could in an emergency. Engine oil is a lubricant and transmission fluid is a hydraulic fluid with some lubricational properties. Drain Or Fill Plug Is Seized Top Plug If the top filler plug is seized then I it's probably best just to leave it. If you absolutely have to top up fluid that is leaking then try spraying it in penetrating lubricant like PlusGas, leave it for a few hours and try again. Heating around the plug can aid in the removal. As a last resort you can grind a slot into the plug and attempt to remove it with a hammer and an impact driver. Bottom Plug If you can remove the top plug but not the bottom plug then don't worry. Instead of messing about attempting to remove the seized plug, simply leave it in. Take the oil removing pump you use for servicing (Pela 6000 for example), push the flexible hose into the top hole and pump as much of the fluid out as you can. You will be able to remove a large majority this way. If you jack the front of the car up you will get more out as it pools nearer the back. Once you are happy you got most of it out (you will be able to see the removed fluid capacity on the side of the tank on the Pela 6000), use the top hole to refil as you would normally. |
